Our Story

I grew up thrifting with my mom (before it was cool) and always enjoyed stopping for garage and estate sales. I thought it was exciting to find things that weren't so easily found and to use those unique finds to create a style authentic to me. I was always a tomboy, dressing mostly in baggy t shirts and jeans.

Fast forward to spring of 2020, when most things in the world began to shut down. I lost my restaurant job and to replace some income, I started selling my old clothes. It then clicked that I could not only thrift for myself, but for others, too. I began selling online and never looked back.

Growing up a tomboy and queer woman, it took a while to feel confident in who I am and how I dress, but becoming a part of this community truly nurtured my confidence and thus birthed Tomboy Vintage. Over the years, I've really enjoyed learning the history that comes with each piece and joke that I'm somewhere between a historian and a hoarder. While my favorite finds tend to always fall within my personal style, I pride myself in trying my best to truly provide something for everyone. Each item is hand picked by me with love.

In the beginning of 2024, I lost my mom, my thrift buddy, and my greatest inspiration. Since then, Tomboy Vintage has served an even greater purpose to me, connecting me to my mom and giving me a space to get out of my head and do something we both love.

Thank you for shopping with me, each sale truly means the world. <3
